The best way to get here will be along AL Shamal Road. There's a terrible shortage of taxis at this mall - I wouldn't even dream of going there without a car. ParkingGets crammed on busy days! Review
The mall has very little to offer you if you are not interested in clothes, jewellery and cosmetics. When designed it obviously had a target market in mind and this target market was not men, which can be a pain if you have a husband in tow. At least where clothes and smelly things are concerned it has a good range of shops, and I particularly liked Lush, the first branch I have seen, both for its emphasis on hand made beauty products and the delicious smells that greet you on entry. However, in its food hall (full of the usual fast food junk McDonalds, KFC and such like) and its terribly named 'circus land' and 'cinema land' Landmark descends to tack. Landmark does, at least, make an effort with art and sometimes has photograhy exhibitions it was also the venue for a recent French film festival.
Features- Circus land: amusement area for children, good for keeping the little ones entertained but not as good as the ones in City Centre or Hyatt Plaza. Telephone: +974 4881674

Landmark seems to be trying to for a more upmarket approach than City Centre Mall. However, they have now introduced Carrefour as the main food provider - previously it was the more expensive MegaMart.
