The Company

The state run Qatar Petroleum is the third largest oil and gas company, measured by oil and gas reserves, in the world. As such, it is a huge employer, and provides a huge number of Qatar jobs - in fact, sometimes it seems in Qatar that every other person you meet seems to work for QP.

Qatar Petroleum's main activities include exploration, production, refining, transportation and storage. The oil and gas company's needs go far beyond that of core oil jobs such as petroleum engineering, technicians and oil workers: company needs a huge support staff including lawyers, accountants, on the spot english teachers and many more.

Depending on your position and the company's need, your location could be anywhere from an off-shore rig, a support office or a place in QP's academy teaching Qatar trainees.
