A scholar of literature, she has a PhD from the University of Florida with a focus on gender and postcolonial theory. She has published short stories, academic articles, and travel essays in a variety of journals and literary magazines. ![]() Mohana is the creator of the Qatar Narratives series, a locally produced and published anthology project which gives a platform to the experiences of residents and citizens living in Qatar. Currently she is working on a collection of essays related to her experiences as a female South Asian American living in the Arabian Gulf as well as finishing her second novel.
