Ramadan Photo Competition
Can you capture the spirit of Ramadan/ Eid in a photo? The month of Ramadan is upon us, and we are asking photographers of all religions to capture what is special about Ramadan in a single picture.

The Competition
Unlike most photography competitions, this one is absolutely free! All you have to do is send a picture related to Ramadan or Eid Il Fitri along with a paragraph explaining the story behind the picture to:

The competition will run until the end of September, and the winners will be announced in our October newsletter.
Rules
You must follow these rules to be eligible for the competition.
- The competition is for amateurs only please.
- Photographs should be no larger than 800 pixels on their longest side, and the file size should be no greater than 180kb. A high resolution image will be requested from the winning entries for publication in the Gulf Times.
- Only one image per competitor is allowed.
- Photographs must be submitted by the end of September, and winners will be announced in our October Newsletter.
- Photographs must be named as followed: name of photographer, underscore (_) name of image and file type: e.g. abigailharman_sunset.jpg .
Note - this competition is open to people of all nationalities and religions.
The Judge
Once again our judge is prize-winning professional photographer Abigail
Harman.

Abigail Harman is a prize-winning professional photographer based in
Australia. In addition to taking pictures of the desert, she specialises
in family, children and baby photography. She is particular adept in
utilising natural light to create pleasing photographs of her subjects
in both colour and in black and white: to view examples of her images
visit her
children and family photography website.
Use of Photographs
Qatar Visitor will be publishing the best photographs
on our website. A selection of the best photographs
will also be published in The Gulf Times. We may use the photographs
on our sites in the future, but all photographs will be attributed and
we will not sell any images on to a third party without your consent.
Privacy
QatarVisitor.com will not transmit, sell, or pass on to any third party the information required for entering the Contest.
